- Not to interfere with the sea creatures
Some of the underwater marine creatures can be poisonous and meddling with them can be hazardous for the snorkelers. As they are not used to human intrusion they may react defensively which might injure you.
- Respect other people’s personal space
Just like in general, even underwater you should respect other people’s personal space. You have to keep in mind that you are in someone else’s territory, so don’t get too excited to reach out to the person next to you, the marine creatures might not appreciate it.
- Don’t touch the coral
You have to be very careful underwater; try to look down while you are trying to keep afloat; you might kick a sea lion and any other marine animal in the process. Corals are also living organisms; don’t stand on them or try to touch them.
